We recently had a Parish Planning event, in which we discussed ministries and fellowship events which we will offer through the remainder of 2026 and into 2027. Here are some results:

1. Our theme for this year is “Growing Together in Jesus” (Eph. 4:11-14), this refers to personal growth, as well as growth of our church.
2. We will join the Nuer & Morning congregations on the 2nd Sunday of each month; the service will be a multi-lingual service, occasionally with a meal following
3. Coffee hours and Bible Study (led by Rev. Colton LaMay) will alternate weeks following the service
4. We have some new fellowship events: Trunk or Treat, Friday Night Coffee House (once a month), Spring and Fall Concerts
5. VBS will return in 2027, as will mid-week Advent & Lent services and meals
6. We will have a couple of special services led by Sunday School and Young Adults and VBS
7. And lots more, look at the calendar for details!

October is a great time to get connected or reconnected with GLC! We’d love to see you, even if you haven’t been here in a while!
