Sunday morning worship is the focal point of the week.  It is an opportunity to worship God through singing, liturgy, preaching and the sacraments.

Gethsemane offers two services (one during the summer).  The times are 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. (10:00 a.m. during the summer).  The early service is generally more contemporary, with newer music and service settings.  These services are led by the Ensemble.  The 11:00 service is more traditional.  Both services are generally equally well-attended, and many attend both.  Everyone is welcome to try one or both!

Communion is held at the end of each service.  Any adult or confirmed youth may take communion, but if you are unfamiliar with Lutheran beliefs regarding communion, or are unsure, you are asked to speak with the Pastor before partaking.

There is a nursery available for young children.  It is currently not staffed, but you are welcome to bring your children there to play - the service can be heard through speakers in the nursery.

In between services is an education time for children and adults.  Sunday School is held at this time, as well as Bible study opportunities for adults.  There are often coffee hours so that people from both services can mingle.
