At two times through the year, Gethsemane offers additional services to help people anticipate and reflect on the seasons of Christmas and Easter.  At Christmas, Advent services are held in the weeks preceding the holiday.  Similarly, before Easter, Lenten services are held.  These services are built around topics which will inform people why these Christian celebrations are so important.

During Advent and Lent, these services are preceded by a soup and sandwich dinner.  The dinners are hosted by various groups in the congregation, and everyone is welcome to attend for a donation.  Come celebrate these seasons with us, enjoying food, fellowship, and study of the Word.
