What are care groups?

• Care groups are small groups which get together for Bible study and fellowship.  Some groups are general groups, while others are targeted to a specific group of people with common interests.  The general groups are held in the homes of a host (or hosts), and generally contain 10-12 people.

What care groups are available?

• Currently, Gethsemane offers 8 different care groups.  Three of them are general, while the other five are more focused.  The groups are:

  • Monday (general Bible study)

  • Tuesday (general Bible study)

  • Wednesday (general Bible study)

  • Deaf Bible Study

  • Ladies' Bible Study

  • Men's Bible Breakfast

  • Seniors' Group

  • Young Ladies'

What happens if a group gets too large?

• If care groups get too large, they should consider splitting into two groups.  There should always be room for expansion so that others may join.
